To Buy Or Not To Buy?

I've been eyeing these boots for a while now but i'm still hesitating because of the price. 150€ is very much for me and i'ver never spent so much on shoes actually. But sometimes i just have the feeling that i HAVE to have something...and these shoes definitely belong to that category. I would have to wear them every day to justify the purchase though.
On the other hand i could buy 2 or 3 pieces at h&m or zara with that money...so what do you thinkdo you think they're worth it? ...to buy or not to buy?

Lisa Simpson!!!!!!





Es stimmt, ich habe schon als Kind die Simpsons immer gesehen und tue es immernoch. Obwohl ich wahrscheinlich heute mehr verstehe als damals.
Lisa ist einfach perfekt in meinen Augen. Sie ist sehr intelligent, emanzipiert (und das mit 8 Jahren!), Vegetarierin, Buddhistin, Umweltschützerin, und Saxophonistin. All das was ich immer sein wollte oder sein will. Vegetarierin und Buddhistin sein habe ich leider noch nicht hinbekommen, aber dafür spiele ich Saxophon...natürlich nicht annähernd so gut wie sie aber immerhin.
Trotz ihrer außergewöhnlichen Intelligenz ist Lisa dennoch ein Mädchen wie du und ich, das gerne mit ihrer Malibu Stacey spielt. Und eines Tages wird sie die erste weibliche Prsäidentin der USA!

Summer overdose

I know i will regret saying this eventually but i want summer to end! I can't wait wearing different clothes for fall finally, it's just way more interesting to layer and combine different materials and patterns.
Tommorrow i'll be going to the flea market and i hope i'll find something good, maybe a navy blazer, because i'm sick of spending so much money on clothes. Well, i also could not be going shopping at all but as we all know, that is not an option.

Sunset River

Yesterday i went to the fleamarket but unfortunately didn't find anything. I'm looking for nice vintage pieces like blazers or dresses, but people don't seem to sell anything but boring grandma blouses or bags with a cow pattern....

This dress instantly caught my attention in the H&M store, i was really fascinated by it somehow and could'nt keep my eyes off it. I liked the idea of wearing a river at sunset on me and since it was the last one in store, i had to buy the dress (or t-shirt). I love that it's very casual to wear despite the eye-catching pattern.

Back Home

My first day back at home...The flight back was exhausting, had to switch airports in Paris and arriving at airport Charles de Gaulles, i learned that my flight was overbooked, and there was no seat left for me. I had to wait 3 hours for the next flight but the good thing is they compensated me with 250€!!!! Not too bad, huh?

Anyways, this is what i wore today, the blouse is a lot greener than it seems in the pictures. And i'm pleased i finally got me some John Lennon glasses, they're not perfectly round but i like them, espeacially since they were for free (my moms).

I'm just getting started taking pictures with the new camera, but as you can see i'm not really good at it yet. I have to practice more.

H&M, i love you.

I just love H&M. I love them for offering wonderful and stylish clothes for little money. I've just recently fallen in love with those boots (and a headband) for fall. I'd really like to have the first 2, i hope i don't have to decide. The boots kind of look like doc martens, but the thing is i never really liked doc martens, but i adore these. Perfect for winter when i start going to university, can't wait!! So which one do you like best?

i have to apologize for not telling you that i'm in France right now, near Biarritz. I'm doing au-pair for 5 weeks. I also did it last year but i figured the conditions are pretty good with the beach so close. My french is developing (i hope) and i will update soon because i already did a photosession with the daughter.
I have the impression that many blogs have a little summer break, too, but i hope you'll come back to visit.

The Prom

So here are the phtos of my prom... the first pictures were taken in the morning when i received my degree, you see me holding it in my hands. i'm wearing the dress that i presented in a previous post. i like the first picture very much (i usually don't like pictures of me that much) it would have been perfect if my mother had put the shoes on it, too!!



And this was my prom dress. I got it tailored a year ago, because i couldn't find a dress that i liked that was in my price range, and i didn't want to wear black. So i chose the fabrics and the cut. I wanted it to be very floaty and romantic...it didn't turn out perfectly, but i'm content with it. What do you think?

Waterfall

School has finally ended...forever...i don't want to have anything to do with it anymore...i'm also glad not to see some stupid people anymore. Oh and yesterday was my prom, i'll show you pictures but oh you just can't imagine how awful some dresses were, wish i could show you some...
So i'm planing to be a little more relaxed with the blog and not to have too much pressure on me to have people to read it. I want to make it like a personal journal that i can look back on...and if people read it and like it, then i'm also happy.
